Breaking Your Virginity Pledge

If you broke your virginity pledge, how do you look back at it now? How did you feel at the time?

I lost my virginity when I was 16. At the time I wasn't sure if I should engage in sexual intercourse because I was scared I would be bad at it and I also did not want to be another teen statistic carrying a baby. However, the thing that most frightened me was thinking about my parent’s reaction if they were to ever find out. That was the main thing that was holding be back, or else I probably would have had sex earlier. Looking back I feel that I was a little young, but at least I was smart about it and used proper protection. When I was 16 losing my virginity seemed like a huge deal, but now it just seems like another event that has been added to my life.

At the time, I had been eager to break my virginity pledge because I loved the guy. I was very excited thinking up to that moment - but when it happened I was more nervous than anything, also a little bit scared. Now I look back at it as an awkward but meaningful event.

Breaking my virginity had always been a big deal to me. I was that one girl that always said, not till I'm married. But me and my boyfriend (who I am still with) were going on three years. I love him so much. I still don't regret the action to this day. But I am at the point now where I can see me and my boyfriend getting married in the future, and I could not see myself having sex with any other guy.

I was in love and having sex seemed to have a special meaning for us as a couple. i do not regret anything in my life but i would only like to offer advice to other young ladies: your first "love' isn't really love usually. its also important to be aware that guys typically see a virgin as a prize

I was 20 when I lost my virginty and if I could I would go back and do it all over again. It was a very memorable and fun experience. I knew the guy for 2 years and we had become really close friends and began to really like each other. At the time I was more excited then nervous , and I wasn't really sure what I was thinking, just that I really liked and trusted him. We used protection and from that experience our friendship has become even stronger.
